To Our Valued Customers

We are pleased to announce the purchase of certain assets, intellectual property and the rights to manufacture various product lines of The U.S. Baird® Corporation(U.S.B.). The new corporate name will be The Baird Machinery Corporation and we will be known by our trade name U.S. Baird®. We have retained certain key employees needed to offer the same excellent quality new machinery, spare parts and service that has been the practice for the past 150 years.

U.S. Baird® will remain on site in Stratford for a short period of time. We will be announcing our relocation plans in the very near future.

As you are aware U.S.B. announced in March of 2007 that it would be suspending manufacturing operations. Since April both parties have been working towards finalizing this purchase. During this period U.S.B .has continued to process requests for quotes and orders for spare parts as they have developed. In some cases the response has been delayed due to price verification and re-quoting that has been on going on with our vendor base and your patience has been appreciated.

In the future the focus will be to streamline the quoting process and provide the same quality components and products at competitive prices. We will be contacting all of the customers with pending orders. Orders in process prior to July 12, 2007 will be completed by the U.S.B. Orders after that date will be processed by the new company U.S. Baird®. We would like to thank all of you for your patience during this transition period and we look forward to serving you.
